The paraffin trimmer device is used to remove the excess paraffin around the tissue block. When you put the tissue block on the hot plate of this device the excess paraffin melts and is flown to the waste paraffin tank through the grooves on it.
The hot plate temperature of the paraffin remover is set up to 80°c.
