As the name implies , this holder equipped with levers for tightening for itself and also blade.in the past due to the problems of sharpening the knives , disposable blade holders gradually replaced them. the old disposable blade holders became in use placed  inside the permanent blade holders and their structure offered 2 or 3 screws for tightening the blade inside it.by more cutting, paraffin got filled into the screws and also there was the need for opening the screw to move the blade so the adverse effects were directly observed in the cuttings.

.the levered holders are could remove all of these problems, leading very obvious changes in cutting processes

it is much easier to put the blade inside the holder and adjust the angle due to the use of simple levers. also using the same levers , assembling & disassembling the holder has become so simple, also it could be cleaned easily in a short time.on the other hand , as it is possible to move the blade easily in any direction against the block holder there has been observed serious reduction in blade use rat up to maybe 35%
