Cold Plate Model DS2535

For the melted paraffin in which the tissue sample is embedded become hard, it must be transferred to a cold environment. The mold is put on the cold plate for hardening of the paraffin. It not only speeds up the hardening process but also makes the hardening in an even manner which is very important for the sectioning in next step.
The cold plate freezes up to -15°c.
70 tissue blocks can be put on the cold plate of the device.
